E78 connection to Uniden Oceanus D VHF-with DSC - dmahler - 10-17-16 04:02 PM Hi Ray Team. Please let me know if I am on the correct track. We just upgraded our nav to the e78, and ITS UTTERLY AMAZING. quick question. How can I connect the Uniden Oceanus D vhf to the e78? Do I need an R70414 cable? or is there another way to get the gps data to flow TO the Radio and the RECEIVED DSC CALL location to show on the e78? Next- If we DO in fact need that cable, do we also need to apply power to this cable or will it get power from e78? Thanks for the help. The MFD's NMEA 0183 NMEA 0183 PORT 1 would need to be configured to "NMEA 4800". The R70414 NMEA 0183 / Video Input Cable carries signal alone and as such your question concerning powering this cable is not applicable (i.e. no power will be connected to this cable). |
