E80 MFD compatibility with SmartPilot S1 and ST6001 - Don Guy - 07-21-17 08:01 AM I've got a SmartPilot S1 and ST6001 on SeaTalk with an E80 MFD. The MFD is getting Heading data from the pilot, but the MFD status box shows a coloured pilot wheel and an "X", and the pilot control menu item is not present on the E80. The pilot is operating normally. I am wondering if there is a compatibility problem between the pilot and MFD, or if a software update is needed on the pilot. Is the E80 MFD with software App v5.69 and Boot code v1.03 compatible with a SmartPilot S1 course computer software v S1 463 and Controller ST6001 with software v15? Thank you, Don RE: E80 MFD compatibility with SmartPilot S1 and ST6001 - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 07-25-17 08:31 AM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Don, Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. Within E-Series Classic MFDs operating with v5.69 software, the command sequence MENU->SYSTEM SETUP->SYSTEM INTEGRATION->AUTOPILOT CONTROL is used to configure the Autopilot Control feature's state. The S1/S1G/S2/S2G/S3/S3G Autopilot Course Computers will support the MFD's Autopilot Control feature when items within the referenced FAQ have been satisfied. |
