[CA] Axiom in-hull transducer - Solo_Cam21 - 03-27-18 08:54 PM

Hi Support,

I have two Axiom MFD units on my boat. An Axiom 7 DV & an Axiom 9 RV. I'm looking to install an Airmar or Raymarine in-hull P79 transducer. Since I already have my Axiom 9 "RV" installed to a RV transom mount transducer, I will be directly connecting to my Axiom 7 "DV". I have a raynet cable between the two screens.

Q: Which model P79 transducer should I buy for my Axiom 7 DV?
Q: Which adapter is needed for this conversion?

Thank you for your assistance!

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Solo_Cam21,

Q1: Which model P79 transducer should I buy for my Axiom 7 DV?
A1: As you have not yet purchased a transducer, it is recommended that Raymarine's E66008 version of the P79 be purchased for this application.

Q2: Which adapter is needed for this conversion?
A2. It is recommended that the A80492 Y-Cable be used with the RV transducer and the above CP370 compatible transducer such as that listed in the response to Q1.
