[LW] [LW11] New display/"brain" for 5000+ autopilot

Hi, the control head on my autopilot is suffering from age. Looking to replace it. Have been recommended NAC-2 pack, but this is for boats motorboats up to 35 foot. I have a bavaria 38 sailboat. Advice?

The NAC-2 is a Simrad pilot, I am unable to advise on this as I am not familiar with the Simrad range.

For the Raymarine pilot I would recommend our EV200 pilot for your vessel, you can learn more about the Evolution pilot range here.

Have you got a mechanical linear drive installed? If it is still in good shape, you could get this serviced and still use it.

Thank you for your post.

There is no replacement for the ST5000+, the brains are in the control head.You will need to purchase a new pilot consisting of compass, course computer and control head.

As I mentioned the EV200 is the most suited to your vessel.
