Hi, I’m having problems with my st6002. It will work fine for awhile and then displays “ release” after a while. Pressing the auto button turns the autopilot back on and it works fine for another 20 mins or so. The manual suggests a rudder sensor fault . Our boat runs ips 500 drives. Can this really be a sensory fault if it works perfectly for a period of time ?

The Alarm RELEASE implies the pilot is receiving corrupted Rudder angle data, what gateway is being used between the IPS drives and the Autopilot computer?

There is likely a fault in this gateway.
