[CA11] ES 127 communication with M260
Need some assistance... My M260 transducer has been direct connected to my ES127 via adapter cable for a while now. Just recently got a message in a box on the fish finder screen that states "Selected Transducer unavailable or not available. I have reselected the M260 and done a full reset (restart) of the unit and still get the same message.

Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum RKW68,

While I understand that you executed a settings reset, have you also performed a Sonar Reset (LHII: MENU->SET-UP->SOUNDER SET-UP->SOUNDER RESET; LH3: MENU->SETTINGS->SOUNDER->RESET SOUNDER) from within the Fishfinder application? This action is commanded via the Fishfinder application's settings menu.

I performed the reset as suggested and I still get the same message (Selected sounder unavailable). I am not currently using a sounder and connected directly to the ES127 from the M260

RE: [CA11] ES 127 communication with M260
RKW68,

Given the actions taken, the reported issue would then indicate either a fault within the MFD's internal sonar circuitry or within the transducer itself. It is recommended that a Certified Raymarine Installer be contacted to test the transducer with an EDI or Gemeco transducer tester and to test the MFD with another compatible transducers. Alternatively, the MFD may be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
