Would this be a more accurate means of position fixing then, with a more precise acquisition of satellites and differential corrections, using the RAY53 internal gps receiver with the GA150 antenna connected to it and then outputting that position data to all the other networked devices?
Or would the Axiom internal gps receiver be considered a higher caliber and more accurate receiver for gps satellite and differential correction positioning?

Just want to make sure setup the best preferred / most beneficial & most accurate way.

SE-FL,

For maximum GPS performance, it would be recommended that a device which is solely devoted to the purpose of GPS processing be utilized, as other non-GPS circuitry within other products may result in signal reduction. Accordingly for those seeking maximum GPS performance, it would be recommended that a Raystar 150 GPS Sensor be installed. From there, it would be recommended that the Ray53 w/GA150 Passive GPS Antenna be used as the system's GPS data source, as there may be time when the VHF radio will be left on, while the system's other equipment will be switched on. Of the possible GPS receivers within your system, the Axiom MFD would be my third choice behind the two others which I have listed.
