RE: Transducer angle: who to know the good one
Hello Jimmorock,
You can measure the hull deadrise angle with a clinometer (you should be able to get one from a hardware store for not very much) but nowadays most people would use a clinometer app in their smartphone. The Gemeco 'iNstall' app has one that's specifically aimed at measuring hull deadrise and is available for iOS and Android. Regards, Tom Raymarine since 1999. Interests: Diagnosis of problems in sonar/fishfinders, NMEA2000, ethernet comms, autopilots, thermal cameras Location: Sydney, Australia. Please don't PM me asking for direct support, please ask a public question instead so that others can see the question and answer. Forum posts will always be answered before PM requests. |
