Axiom 12 and SPX10/ST70
I have the SPX10/ST70 connected to the Axiom 12 using the NEMA2000/Seatalkng backbone.
Currently when I select goto it will start the goto on the Axiom 12 and I then have to hit the Track button on the ST70 in order to follow the goto track. With my previous MFD I had the option of starting the Autopilot Track from the MFD. Is the ability to start the Autopilot track from the MFD only going to be available for EVO Autopilots? Or is it a limitation of my ST70 Control Head? Would replacing my control head with a P70 or P70R allow that functionality? |

RE: Axiom 12 and SPX10/ST70
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Ruder,
At the time of this response, the autopilot controls feature within LH3 is limited to MFDs which have been interfaced to an Evolution autopilot. Within systems having prior generations of autopilots, the MFD will be able to supply navigational data to the autopilot to support track mode. However, engagement of the autopilot's modes (Standby, Auto, Track) must be performed via the autopilot's control head. A feature request has been logged to add support for prior generations of Raymarine autopilots by the Autopilot Control feature of LH3. Please click here more information concerning product and feature suggestions. |
