Impact of lower unit or outdrive on SideVision performance

Should the vessel's lower unit or outdrive be located within the beam of the CPT-200 transducer, then it is possible that SideVision imaging performance on the side facing the lower unit or outdrive maybe be adversely impacted. However, as SideVision is primarly intended for use at slow (trolling) speeds, SideVision imaging performance may be improved by tilting the engine / lower unit up a bit. The engine / lower unit may later be tilted down to assist with [censored] shot when preparing to operate at planing speeds.
