[CA11] ev100 autopilot not tracking with garmin plotter
hello all season long from july 2018 I have had a constant problem with my ev-100 autopilot, the on going issue is I was told to have my Raymarine gear updated on another form, which I did to
P70 v 3.07 acu100 v2.23 ev1 v 3.01 these updates were required to allow the autopilot to communicate with my garmin GND10 wind unit v2.40 it did fix that issue although another one reared its ugly head now the autopilot works fine unless I want to track with the garmin GPSMAP720, the p70 head constantly shows "proceed to next waypoint" and when you accept it pops back up a few seconds later ... I believe I have read the raymarine software needs to be rolled back somewhere but to which level and is that even possible? please note the garmin gear was updated prior to launch, and everything worked great with the autohelm except the wind tracking, the update corrected that wind tracking issue but caused me not to be able to track with the plotter. |
