This is a great idea (and was there long ago on the classic E series). But logging only to the rear slot of an Axiom will make it a non-starter for many. If the Axiom is flush or surface mounted, rather than trunnion mounted, the labor overhead of removing it to access the card (at least twice per trial) will discourage it's use. Surely the bright engineers at Raymarine can figure out how to write to a slot in the RCR?

Agreed, and I am sure something more flexible is coming soon enough, this is just the first iteration.
