[CA11] Ev-1 location
Hi,
I am about to mount my ev-1 for my install on my center console. Locating a good place is a BIG challenge. At a local Boston whaler dealer I notice an ev1 type sensor (mercury’s Version) mounted flush on the top of the hard top. This would be very convenient but I am concerned with radar. My radar is also mounted on the top of hard top. It would be approximately 5-6 feet away from hard top. Will this interfere? Thx

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum ThreeAces,

Given the separation distance which you are intending, it would be expected that the radar transducer would have little or now effect upon the EV-1 CCU.
