[TG11] Integrating es75 MFD with ST5000+ autopilot
I have a ST5000+ autopilot and have recently installed an eS75 MFD (running lighthouse II version 19.03). The units are connected via a seatalk to seatalkng converter (software 2.03).

I can use the MFD to control the pilot using the Pilot Control, switching between Standby and Auto but when in Auto mode I cannot ‘Adjust the current locked heading’.

When the Pilot Control dialog (Auto) is displayed on the MFD the following are shown:
1. Pilot status
3. Rudder bar
4. Standby
5. Current locked heading
8. Close

However the following are missing:
2. Left Arrow
6. Track
7. Right Arrow

Please see attached photo.

Any suggestions how I can get the arrows to show?

Thanks.

RE: [TG11] Integrating es75 MFD with ST5000+ autopilot
Hello RobNZL,

I've tested with an equivalent system and see the same result. I assume this is a limitation of the interface with that old pilot type via the convertor, but I'm sorry to say that due to the age of the system and the Seatalk language, can't go a lot further than that. It looks like you'll need to keep making course changes via the pilot display.
