[CC11] Ray260 loud hailer - automatic fog setting

Hello

I have a Ray 260 VHF. I want to add a loud hailer speaker to aide when I am in fog. A few questions:

1. In automatic mode, it can do one pro-longed blast but at what interval? Every two minutes, automatically repeating?
2. When in automatic mode, can the ray260 still monitor Ch 16 (or whatever channel is selected? Can I easily transmit / use the VHF normally while the automatic fog sound setting is on? I see that the manual says "Note: Radio calls can only be made between automatic fog horn soundings" so does that simply mean my VHF transmission would be interrupted for the pro-longed blast?
3. Can I quickly exit the automatic fog mode so I can use the VHF without interruption?
