RE: Networking
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Dkdoyle,
It is not possible to use a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Cable for the purpose specified. This cable is exclusively designed to permit interfacing products having a SeaTalkng communications interface which has additionally been designed to support SeaTalk communications (ex. i70, p70, p70R, i50, i60). If installing a powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng backbone, then a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter (updated with v2.1 or later software) would need to be installed as a component of the backbone. The un-powered SeaTalk bus interfacing the Raystar 125 and C80 to one another would be in turn be interfaced to the yellow SeaTalk socket of the SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter. |
