Can a Raymarine fishfinder transducer instead be used with depth/speed/temp instrument?

Raymarine branded fishfinder transducers supporting the 200 kHz depth sounding frequency may alternatively be used with Raymarine branded instruments which are compatible with analog depth, speed, and/or temperature transducers (ex. i40 Depth/Bidata, i50 Speed/Tridata, etc.). Please see the circuit diagram for the A/a/c/e/eS-Series 600W 50/200kHz transducers below.

After removing the transducer's plug and a sufficient amount of the cable's sheathing to reveal its inner leads, then 1/8" female blade connectors may be crimped onto the transducer cable's leads. When crimping the blade connectors onto the transducer leads, please note that a jumper will need to be created to permit the transducer's brown lead (ground speed/temp ground) to be connected to both the instrument's speed 0V terminal and temp 0V terminal. The transducer cable's leads would then be connected to the remaining terminals of the instrument's transducer by simply matching the colors of the transducer cable's leads to the colors of the instrument's transducer terminals.

Note: should there be a possibility that the currently installed 50/200kHz fishfinder transducer may at some point in the future again be used to support a MFD's fishfnder features, then its plug should not be removed as indicated above. Instead, it would be recommended that a compatible fishfinder transducer extension cable be connected to the transducer's cable. The plug located on the fishfinder end of the transducer extension cable would then be removed and female blade connectors would then be crimped onto the transducer extension cable's leads. The transducer extension cable's leads would then be connected the instrument's transducer terminals by simply matching the colors of the transducer extension cable's leads to the colors of the instrument's transducer terminals.
