AIS targets read as radar targets
I have a Standard Horizon GX2200 providing AIS data to my Seatalk NG system via an Actisense NG-1-ISO-AIS translator. The AIS targets show up on my chart plotter but I have a problem controlling the alarms in situations such as in the marina where they all indicate alarm status because of proximity. I can't seem to turn off the alarm at a macro level. I have to OK each one which is tedious. When I go into the alarm menu and it appears they are identified as radar targets. I don't have radar installed. Any suggestions on where to start getting this configured correctly?

RE: AIS targets read as radar targets
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Charlie,

When the vessel is tied to a dock or located within an anchorage, it is recommended that the Dangerous AIS Targets configuration setting (HOME->SET-UP->ALARMS->SAFETY ALARMS->DANGEROUS AIS TARGETS->ENABLE) be unchecked to avoid triggering unwanted alarms.
