Hi ray18,
Thankyou for your enquiry below. AXIOM itself cannot record the Realvision data. The suggestion is to stream the video through RayControl to a tablet and use one of a number of programmes to record onto the tablet. Thanks |

Derek, Thanks, that's what I was planning to do - To record it on a tablet (ipad).
But, I remember Axiom has blue tooth capability so can I pair it with my Macbook air laptop using blue tooth and record it that way? Is there a program or app that can work similar to RayControl for ipad to work for Laptop? http://www.youtube.com/njfishing1 - from Captain Steve |

Hi ray18,
AXIOM does have bluetooth, but will not stream to a Macbook, click here for a list of compatible tablets |

Thanks for the quick response. I just found out I can simply record what is streamed onto my iPhone after I connect it to a MacBook air and I will be able to use QuickTime player (built in app on MacBook) to record the sonar images on my IPhone. That solves my purpose. It is much clearer to do it this way than holding still my video camera and record the Axiom fish finder. The sun glare always ruin the captured videos and the rocking motion of my boat make it even worse. This way the recording is guaranteed to work without any of those issues. A perfect STILL video of sonar images of the underwater structures in ocean or river or lake that I passed by and scanned.

Silly me, I also just found out - I can simply record the stream live sonar images on iPhone because I do have enough space on my iPhone and I have the IOS 11 operating system on my iPhone which has a build in Screen Recorder.
