[CA11] How many devices can be fed by a Raymarine PoE Injector?
I am installing an Axiom Pro network, and have the FLIR MD324 thermal camera that was previously connected to an e125.
I plan on installing a Cam220IP to monitor reverse operations. Question- the FLIR camera is fed by its PoE injector. Can I also run the CAM220IP off the same injector, or should I run it off its own power supply and then to an HS5 switch? |

RE: [CA11] How many devices can be fed by a Raymarine PoE Injector?
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Pau,
Q. Can I also run the CAM220IP off the same injector, or should I run it off its own power supply and then to an HS5 switch? A. The POE injector is designed to supply power to a single device. FLIR's MD cameras are designed to be powered over Ethernet and a POE injector is included within the package of the MD324. A second POE injector may be purchased for the CAM220 or the CAM220 may instead be powered via it power leads. FLIR also offers a POE switch which may be used as an alternative to individual POE injectors. |

Thank you! I suspected as much, and now have confirmation.
