[CA] entering gps into Dragonfly 7
I have a D7 bought in 2015. I have been unable to find how I can enter gps numbers directly from an outside source without having to place an arbitrary waypoint and then changing the numbers to what I want to enter.

RE: [CA] entering gps into Dragonfly 7
Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum Gary,

The method which you have described is the only way to directly enter waypoints via the Dragonfly display's user interface. The most common method used for entering large quantities of waypoint data into the Dragonfly display or MFD would be to use a computer based navigational planning application to create the waypoints, export the data to a GPX file saved onto a microSD memory card, and then import the waypoint data from the GPX file into the Dragonfly display or MFD's memory. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject.
