[CA] Axiom Pro to Ray 60
Is it possible to connect an Axiom Pro MFD directly to a RAY 60 VHF unit in order to use the DSC features? If so, which cable should be used to do so? I attempted this with an included NMEA 2000/SeaTalk cable that came with the Axiom Pro but was unable to show coordinates on the VHF.

RE: [CA] Axiom Pro to Ray 60
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum glvilm,

SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications protocol does not support interfacing two devices to one another via a single spur cable. Instead, each device must be interfaced as a spur to a powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone. Doing so will support supplying the VHF radio with GPS data and in the future will support permitting the MFD to plot DSC position reports received by the VHF radio.
