[CA11] C80 Screen "rolls" continuously
Our old C80 screen has begun to "roll". That is, the display appears just like an old TV when the "vertical hold" was misadjusted. We've disconnected all external input and only the power plug is connected. We've done the "off and on" process a few times, too.
The displayed information, from what we can tell, is correct. After a few seconds of being on, we see the first "OK" request. The chart seems to be there but moves by too quickly to see. The screen image moves from top to bottom continuously. I suspect that we've got a failing C80 but I'd like a second opinion. Anyone? |

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Wings,
The symptoms are indeed indicative of an internal failure within the MFD. While Raymarine's Product Repair Center can no longer service C-Series Classic MFDs, there is a very good chance that SeaWire Marine, Inc. (305.489.1600), a Raymarine dealer/installer, can repair the MFD. |
