Diagnosing NOFIX on L760
I have an L760/RL70C connected by seatalk1 to GPS (RN300). Has worked for years. Now having trouble with a NOFIX displayed on the L760 and RL70C displays -- but the RN300 has a fix displayed. Note, this is an intermittent problem. I see on the internet there is a diagnostic hidden menu to show the seatalk hex codes. Can I get some assistance to see this... it would help me diagnosing the problem.
Thank you. |

RE: Diagnosing NOFIX on L760
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jmoudy,
Unfortunately, the RN300/RC300 is no longer supported. Both the RN300/RC300 and L760 feature NMEA 0183 communications interfaces. If the RN300 is presently interfaced to the L760 via SeaTalk and you have verified that the SeaTalk connections between these products free of corrosion and the plugs have been tightly connected to the displays, and should the problem persist, then you may want to consider disconnect the RN300 from the SeaTalk bus and instead interface the RN300 to the L760 via NMEA 0183. |
