Transducer types
Hi,
I shoehorned a Dragonfly 5 into my dash of my Baja Islander. I love the moving map and the charts. Very handy on the great lakes. I did this in part because my old Humminbird sounder had given up. I did not expect to see such a long transducer with the D5, and really don't want to go outside on the transom with it. I would much prefer to shoot through hull, but only have so much room to epoxy or silicone one in without pulling the engine. I don't really need down view, more just a depth, and even then, 99.9% of the time I am running in less than 100'. Is there a different transducer that is more puck style? And if so, how would it tie into the existing wiring? Or does it come with the D5 power plug? Thanks! Steve |

RE: Transducer types
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Steve,
Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. Unfortunately, Raymarine does not offer a puck style transducer for the Dragonfly fishfinders. |
