[CA] Axiom pro with 2007 Suzuki df300
I went to a dealer and asked if I retrofit my boat that has 2007 Suzuki df300 engines on it would work with the axiom pro. He said that there doesn't look like there is support for Suzuki engines on your equipment. Is this true? What would I need to get it going. Eci100?? They are nmea2000 ...

RE: [CA] Axiom pro with 2007 Suzuki df300
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Aerowave,
Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. As indicated, within the referenced FAQ, Raymarine recommends that an engine gateway be installed when interfacing engine systems to a NMEA 2000 backbone. Unfortunately, the software of Raymarine's ECI-100 Engine Gateway has not been designed for use with Suzuki systems. You may find the article found here interesting as it describes a set of third party devices which have been previously used to configure Suzuki engines for communications with a NMEA 2000 backbone. Please refer to the FAQ referenced within this thread for configuring the engines with the expected NMEA 2000 Instance Numbers. |
