[CA] Connecting ST 80 compass, ST60 wind C120 chart plotter to Laptop (expedition)
I have older instruments on my sail boat: ST80 Compass, ST80 Maxiview, ST60+ wind, ST80 masterview, C120 chartplotter. I would like to connect to my laptop to use with Expedition software. Can anyone make a recommendation how to do this?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum jbestjr,
Probably the most common means of achieving the end which you are seeking would be to interface the MFD's NMEA 0183 Cable to a Serial Data Cable (ex. Actisense DBF-9, etc.) which in turn would be interfaced to quality DB-9 Serial to USB Adapter (ex. SeaLevel Model 2105R, etc.). |
