(DG) EV-300 control unit mounting

Can the EV-300 ECU be mounted horizontally or does it have to be mounted vertically? If it is mounted horizontally what affects does it have to the performance?

Thank you for your enquiry.

The ACU300 should be mounted vertically to ensure the heat dissipation role of the fins on the rear casing works effectively. In the case of the ACU300, the CPU is only switching Solenoids, so the temperature rise should be lower, never-the-less, we would always recommend it being mounted vertically.
