(DG) EV1 sensor Location
I just got my new EV150 autopilot and I am planning where I should put the EV1 Sensor. The boat is a 1999 Sea Ray 370 Express Cruiser.
See link for Pics https://photos.app.goo.gl/KwImvgIbJ9MbW2J42 Any idea where the EV1 should go? The old Autopilot compass was below deck under the steps. Should I put it there? Please let me know what your thoughts are and or if you know where people are mounting them. RE: (DG) EV1 sensor Location
Hi West32
Thank you for your enquiry. In general, (there are very few exceptions), the EV1 can be mounted in the same place as the fluxgate compass, it is subject to the same external magnetic influences as the fluxgate compass. These FAQs below may also help click here Also check this link out regards |
