[CA11] Auto pilot
I will soon be having an Auto pilot installed on my boat .. The Dealer will be doing it and I would prefer to stay with all Raymarine. My MFD is an e127. The boat is a 30 foot Grady White marlin with twin F250 Yamaha Outboards ., Seastar power assist steering and each motor has a hydraulic cylinder. I believe they are HC5345's. ... Basically I want to double check that the dealer installs the proper pump and system .. So can you tell me what you would install if it were your boat. ?

In advance .. Thanks

RE: [CA11] Auto pilot
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Tony,

Should the steering rams be installed in series (most common) rather than parallel, then a Type 1 Hydraulic Pump would be used for this application. The Type 1 Pump will be installed between the power assist pump and the steering ram. Should the vessel feature a 12V electrical system, then it would be recommended that an EV-150 be installed for this application.
