[CA11] Axiom - Set Anchor Alarm
Hello,
I've seen older posts that talk about setting up anchor alarms on other MFD, but can't find anything recent and regarding the Axiom specifically. Is there a simple way to create a waypoint for a anchor spot and set an alarm if the boat drifts from that point? I have found the function that turns on the alarm and sets the drift amount, but can't figure out how to actually create an anchor waypoint. Thanks. |

RE: [CA11] Axiom - Set Anchor Alarm
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum jmsteele,
When operating with the latest LightHouse 3 software (v3.6.32 at the time of this response), no waypoint is used to create an anchor alarm. Instead, you would simply position your vessel over the anchor, configure the Anchor Drift alarm (HOME->ALARMS->SETTINGS->ANCHOR DRIFT) on, and then configure the Drift Range setting to suit your needs. While you can create a waypoint at this location by using the create wayponit at vessel feature within the Chart application to provide a visual reference of the vessel's location with respect to the anchor, it is not necessary to do so. This subject is covered in detail within Chapter 5.9: Alarms of the LightHouse 3.5 Advanced Operation Instructions |
