[TG11] Wireless T120 wind transmitter won’t connect
After 8 years of reliable service our Wind instrument T120 recently failed. Got it down from mast head replaced battery - still not working.

Have brought a replacement T120 unit but don’t this does not seem to be connecting is the Auto network (add new instrument routine). The T120 is not found the T112 and T111 find each other.

The T120 and instruments (T112 T111) are within a few cm of each other at home not on the boat. I have used both the T111 (digital) and T112 (analogue) to try to connect.

When on the boat the depth, speed, log, compass and NMEA wireless interface are working just fine.

I have reset the instruments (reconfigured) In order to start from scratch?

What am I doing wrong? Set of instructions would be great if I am using the wrong ones.

Hello Duncveal,

At a guess, I'd say that that new T120 has been in someone's stock for a while and its battery is depleted or dead. I'd suggest giving it a few days in bright sunlight (not artificial light, which won't work and can cause damage) and try again, or get the dealer who supplied it to check the battery.

Regards,
Tom
