[CA11] GPS week rollover in 2019
I looked for this but couldn't find any reference. Maybe I looked in the wrong places but could not find a reference. On April 6, 2019, the GPS Week Number (0 - 1023) will rollover to 0 on Coordinated Universal Time derived from GPS devices. The last time this happened was in 1999. Are Raymarine devices going to be able to handle this? In my specific case, I have two e7D MFD devices. Thanks.

RE: [CA11] GPS week rollover in 2019
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Robert,
Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. As indicated therein, the internal GPS receivers of the e-Series MFDs will not be impacted by the GPS week rollover. |

Just for my information, if a GPS receiver is affected by this bug what exactly is going to happen?
Thank you. Regards. |
