[LW11] Integration eS75 to Seatalk1-Network
We would like to replace our C70 MFD with an eS75.
Currently the ST6001, ST60 Wind and ST60 Tridata and the Course Computer are daisy chained and the C70 is connected with a Seatalk1 junction. For illustration of the current setup see the attached wiring scheme.

I've read the posts on "Replacing a C-Series Classic MFD(s) with an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD(s)" and "Interfacing products having a SeaTalk interface to SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000" in this forum but I am still not sure which is the least costly way to replace the C70.

First, the AIS 250 could be connected with the R70414 Video/NMEA-Cable, this is clear. Could I connect the eS-Display directly to the Seatalk-Junction with the appropriate adapter cable (e.g. A06047) or is the connection with the SeatalkNG-Seatalk1-Adapter-Kit (E221589) mandatory?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards
Ralf

RE: [LW11] Integration eS75 to Seatalk1-Network
Dear Mr Planke,

Thank you for your query.

You will require use of the 5 way block that comes with the ST1 to STng convertor as this contains the software to convert the data. Part number E22158.

I see you have a path finder, will you be keeping this as a standalone unit?

The AIS250 can be networked on the NMEA0183 port at 38400 baud rate.

Many Thanks
Louise

RE: [LW11] Integration eS75 to Seatalk1-Network
The Pathfinder is below the deck at the nav station and connected to the Seatalk network as displayed.
As far as I know, any further integration isn't possible since the HSB isn't supported anymore and I am not sure if our scanner is supported by the C70. What are your suggestions for a tighter integration of the pathfinder?

Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Ralf

Dear Planke,

The pathfinder cannot be further integrated, it will have to remain a standalone unit.

Many Thanks
Louise
