[CA11] Dragonfly 7 Pro battery size
I am going to install my Dragonfly 7 in my kayak and I want to build a battery box for a 12 volt SLA battery. I can only see the specs showing power consumption of 9 w RMS which would give me 750 mAh from my calculations, I could use the fish finder for 8 hours and get by with a 12 V 7AH battery.

Should I buy the 7AH or go with a 9AH battery for the Dragonfly 7?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Beachcamper,

The 7AH battery should work well for this application. I would strongly recommend looking at a Lithium ion battery for this application.
