[CA11] RV 100
My xducer got pulled off the trans one while underway and had an encounter with the prop. The rubber outer jacket is pretty chewed up but it appears that the xducer is still functional. Question is, can I cut the chewed up pieces off and maybe fill the voids with silicone caulk? I know it probably won’t be great at speed but it never was that great to begin with. Thanks

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Cagillis70,

I would not recommend repairing the transducer and would recommend replacing it, lest internal shorting potentially cause damage to the MFD's fishfinder circuitry.
