[CA11] fishfinder Modules
What are the benefits of the Rvx1000 over the CP470. I should have mentioned currently running Axiom 12 & 9, CP470, Airmar TM 275lhw through the CP470, & RV100 direct to the 12.

RE: [CA11] fishfinder Modules
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Larrysr,

The RVX-1000 combines both RealVision sonar circuitry and 1kW CHIRP sonar circuitry within a single black box. The 1kW transducer port of the RVX-1000 may alternatively be adapted to accept 50kHz/200kHz transducers which had been designed to be directly mated to a CP370/CP300/DSM30/DSM300 fishfinder sounder module. The latter capability is not supported by the CP470. The 1kW CHIRP sonar performance of the RVX-1000 should be very similar to that of the CP470.
