[CA11] Connecting seatalkNG to Axio Pro NMEA 2000
Hi - got the new plotter installed and converted STHS cables as you guys suggested and radar is working great on the new screen.
On the old plotter i had what I think is a seatalk ng cable (black/white stripe) with a white connector at the end. However Axiom XL has a screw bayonet type NMEA200 connector. Is there a simple way to plug these together or maybe I buy a multi connector like i use for the main seatlak ng network and connect the cable supplied with the Axiom and the source cable into that with two terminators on the end? like this one https://www.amazon.com/Raymarine-5-Way-C...B0141OBGEO |

RE: [CA11] Connecting seatalkNG to Axio Pro NMEA 2000
Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum Nick
The SeaTalkng Spur Cable which had been interface to the C140W should be unplugged from the C140W's SeaTalkng spur socket. An A06082 SeaTalkng (M) to DeviceNet (F) Adaptor will be fitted to the NMEA 2000 (DeviceNet (M)) socket of the Data Master Axiom Pro MFD. The aforementioned SeaTalkng Spur Cable will then be plugged into the spur (white) socket of the A06082 SeaTalkng (M) to DeviceNet (F) Adaptor. |
