[CA11] Determining and Managing the Active Route
On the Axiom, after a route is activated for navigation:

1. Make it easy to see which route is Active from the Routes page. Better yet, create a button to automatically display the Active route.

2. Without stopping navigation of the Active route and restarting it, allow the next waypoint to be changed/re-selected with a Follow from Here button. Sometimes its helpful to see the effect of skipping a waypoint or returning navigation back to a prior point. To do that in the current version of the software, you have to stop the Active route, then restart it again with the Follow from Here option. i.e. Allow the Active route to be easily manipulated to allow "what-if" scenarios without stopping and restarting the route.

3. On a Chart page, have an option to hide all routes except the Active route. Sailboat octagon race courses can have a large number (30+) of possible routes. Once a route is Activated, all non-active routes create a large amount of clutter on the chart and make it very difficult to actually see the route. I know I can select routes on the Routes page to be hidden, but a simple option on the Chart page to hide non-Active routes when a route is active would be greatly simplify this.

4. On a Chart page, have an option to hide all waypoints except those in the Active route. As in 3 above, when there are many waypoints in close proximity, only seeing the waypoints of the Active route would reduce the clutter on the chart.

5. Make Active Route a Data field displayable from anywhere. Make it easy for the user to validate the correct route is Active.

RE: [CA11] Determining and Managing the Active Route
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jeremy,

The following answers reflect the capability of a system which is running LightHouse 3 v3.11.42 or later software.

Q1. Make it easy to see which route is Active from the Routes page. Better yet, create a button to automatically display the Active route.
A1. At present the Routes List does indicate which route is active ... to the right of the route's name a vessel icon with an arrow extending from its bow is intended to identify the active route. That said, it would be helpful to have this route list first among the routes within the route list.

A2. It is not necessary to do as you have suggested. Both the Advance Waypoint feature and Follow From Here options may be accessed in conjunction with an active route ... and without leaving the Chart application.

A3. This is presently possible from Waypoints, Routes, and Tracks feature within the Chart application. An active route and the waypoints associated with an active route cannot be hidden. Accordingly, commanding all routes to be hidden (a single command) will hide the leg lines associated with all routes except for the active route. Similarly, then commanding all waypoints to be hidden (a single command) will hide all waypoints except for those within the active route. Once hidden, these items will remain hidden until such time as the operator commands the route / waypoint to be shown or commands the route to be active.

Q4. On a Chart page, have an option to hide all waypoints except those in the Active route. As in 3 above, when there are many waypoints in close proximity, only seeing the waypoints of the Active route would reduce the clutter on the chart.
A4. See the response to Q3.

Q5. Make Active Route a Data field displayable from anywhere. Make it easy for the user to validate the correct route is Active.
A5. While a feature request will be logged to consider this feature for inclusion within a future LightHouse 3 software update. However, this end may also be accomplished by simply hiding all routes and all waypoints and then commanding the route of interest to either be shown or followed.
