[LW11] Advantage of EVO autopit vs older system
Hello,

We currently have a Raymarine S3 course computer, fluxgate compass and type 1 linear drive liked to a ST6001 control head. We also have a AXIOM PRO 9S MFD but this does not control the autopilot as it is too old.

We are thinking to upgrade the autopilot to an EVO system pack (complete with another type 1 linear drive and P70 control head), will the newer autopilot be a vast improvement on what we have now?

Also, as previously posted would keep the existing system in place (disconnected from the Raymarine network) as a spare to connect up if needs be.

So, opinions please?
