ST5000+ with Smartstick

My RRU doesn't work so I picked up a SeaStar Smartstick (the one specifically for RM) which I'm going to install shortly. I read somewhere that the ST5000+ head won't display the rudder position with the Smartstick even though the Smartstick definitely works with the ST5000+. I asked SeaStar to verify but they said they don't know enough about the ST5000+ to answer. Can anyone confirm either way? Thanks

You have apparently been misinformed, as the Raymarine compatible version of the Teleflex SmartStick is compatible with any Raymarine autopilot having an analog rudder reference transducer interface.
