Welcome to the Raymarine Forum bpmarcum,

The diagram below from the GX2200's manual specifies how the GX2200 would be interfaced to any chartplotter having a NMEA 0183 communications interface which additionally supported AIS data process may be seen below:

The chart below addresses specifically how a C/E-Series Classic MFD would be interfaced to a GX2200.
