lotharjt, I have the same problem. Mostly it is the slave unit that locks and reboots but occasionally the master does as well. After doing some trouble shooting I found that it may be the V CF chart card in the master. When I wiggled it a bit the master would freeze. I put a small piece cardboard in there to wedge it tight. I have not had a reboot since. I am in the process of updating my Navionics maps to current and will get a new CF card as well. Hope that helps'
