Thanks Chuck. If I recall, on my MFD it says "AIS not available" in a couple places. If I get the connection to work, but there are no other AIS vessels around, would it still say "AIS not available" or now that it is hooked up correctly to the radio, it senses the connection is working so it will change to "AIS available" or something?
