Erratic Heading readout display

This is certainly a very unusual set of symptoms. Should the heading reported by the MFD not agree with the of the autopilot, then it would typically indicate a problem with how the equipment was interfaced or, less likely, how it has been configured. It is recommended that the system's Bridge NMEA Heading feature be configured to OFF and that the system then be tested again. Should the problem persist then we will need to be supplied with the following additional data items to provide further assistance:
- system diagram. In some cases, a system diagram (hand drawn will generally suffice) identifying the makes and models of each of the marine electronics devices within the system (including computers / tablets running navigational planning / chartplotting applications) may be be requested to support an investigation. The diagram should additionally identify how these devices have been interfaced to one another.

Alternatively, you may want to consider enlisting the services of a Certified Raymarine Installer to assist with troubleshooting the reported symptoms.
