It is much more prevelent when the motors are running and we are at 30 mph, the track is lost almost entirely and there is a periodicity to the attempt to re-establish the bottom
When we are anchored, it seem to change the automatic depth scale when a large school of fish are present. So yes, it does happen when motors are off. Here is a screen shot of us anchored. |
