Assuming that the Axiom MFD(s) are presently interfaced to the vessel's two main propulsion engines, the only way that I know of to account for the fuel which is additionally consumed by the kicker would be one of the following:
- the kicker engine (i.e. simply treated as a third engine) would interfaced (click here to view the FAQ addressing how to interface engines to an Axiom MFD) to the SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone to which the MFD has been interfaced as a spur.
- a NMEA 2000 fuel flow sensor (may additionally require a display produced by the sensor's manufacturer) is installed within the kicker's fuel line and has been initialized to NMEA 2000 Instance ID 2 (0=port engine, 1= starboard engine). Raymarine's Fuel Manager feature will then account for fuel consumed by each of the vessel's three engines and report Estimated Total Fuel Remaining.
