Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Dan,
Should mark shown within your photo be on the surface of the MFD's screen, then you may want to consider using a plastic polish then please click here to view a FAQ addressing possible cleaning compounds which my remove the mark. However, should the mark actually be indicative of a defect within the MFD's LCD, then the MFD's LCD would need to be replaced. Please note that the complete set of parts are no longer available to render the full range of repairs to the C-Series Classic MFDs. However, at the time of this response, there were still approximately half a dozen or so C80 LCDs within the US Repair Center's inventory. Accordingly, it would be recommended that the MFD be serviced sooner rather than later. |
