RE: [TG] Advice - Experience with WiFish
Hello BamaJohn,
You're correct that the Dragonfly doesn't share its chart over Wifi, so using the Dragonfly on the chart page and the Wi-Fish app on sonar/DownVision is one way of doing it. The other way is to use the Navionics Boating app on your tablet, which can do both chart-plotting and receives the Dragonfly's sonar data, so can view all 3 at once. As well as displaying all 3 data-types the tablet, this has the added benefit that you can see the high-resolution personalised contour data of SonarCharts Live on the tablet. See the 'SonarChart Live and Fishfinder' section on https://www.navionics.com/aus/apps/navionics-boating and https://www.navionics.com/aus/support/co...chart-live for more detail. Regards, Tom Raymarine since 1999. Interests: Diagnosis of problems in sonar/fishfinders, NMEA2000, ethernet comms, autopilots, thermal cameras Location: Sydney, Australia. Please don't PM me asking for direct support, please ask a public question instead so that others can see the question and answer. Forum posts will always be answered before PM requests. |
