I have no information at present indicating that the Hype ping Sonar setting did not make it into the v3.4.66 software update. However, it may only be used in depths less than 6m and boat speeds up to 40kts. Hyper ping should be used
When the depth reaches 6 meters or above, then the ping rate will automatically reduce to normal until depth conditions are met. That said, the menu within my office system has the numerical type ping rate which you described. I will review this issue with the program manager and will respond regarding with my findings. At that time, this post will be updated accordingly.
